The ANGEL Program - Autism iNtervention and Guidance for Early Learners
The ANGEL Program mission: Educating children on the spectrum in a mainstream classroom. The program is tailored to each student, because every child is unique.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and autism are both general terms for a group of complex disorders of brain development. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by difficulties in social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors.
Autism is the fastest-growing, developmental disability in the United States. With an estimated 1 in 68 children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, having this program in our local community is more important than ever.
